Regional Sales Manager - Protein Distribution Industry Reports to: VP of Sales Job Type: Full-time About Prime Meats Prime Meats is a family-owned private meat packaging and distribution company based in Duluth, GA. Prime Meats has been serving restaurants, butcher shops, and grocery stores in the Southeast since 1992. Main Responsibilities: * Lead and supervise the regional sales team. * Set clear goals and KPIs for the team and ensure their achievement. * Design and implement commercial strategies for client acquisition and retention. * Identify market opportunities, growing segments, and trends. * Negotiate with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts. * Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, promotions, and regional marketing campaigns. * Analyze sales data and propose corrective actions when necessary. * Coordinate with Marketing, Logistics, and Finance to ensure smooth commercial operations. Job Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields. * 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the meat industry. * Proven experience leading sales teams. * Excellent negotiation, leadership, and strategic thinking skills. * Willingness to travel within the assigned region. * Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analysis tools.
