Overview We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Roofing Consultant to join our growing commercial division. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance to commercial clients regarding roofing solutions, ensuring their needs are met with high-quality service and products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial sales, with the ability to effectively manage the Texas market and build lasting relationships with clients. This position requires a proactive and service- minded approach to sales; you must be passionate about serving clients. Duties * Conduct thorough assessments of client roofing needs and recommend appropriate solutions. * Engage in outside sales activities, including prospecting new clients and following up on leads. * Utilize CRM and similar technical applications for tracking sales activities and managing customer relationships. * Develop and implement effective territory management strategies to maximize market coverage. * Collaborate with the sales team to identify upselling opportunities and enhance overall sales performance. * Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to project completion. * Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in roofing technology. * Conduct presentations and demonstrations of products to potential clients. Requirements * Proven experience in outside sales or direct sales, preferably within the construction or home improvement industry * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. * A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. * Willingness to travel in the Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas region as required.
