We are looking for an enthusiastic customer-focused Sales Associate to join our thriving team here in Fairfield County. As a Sales Associate you will be responsible for increasing the confidence and loyalty of our clients through your extensive knowledge of our products and by exhibiting beyond excellent customer service. You will aim to make a positive impression on our clientele on a daily basis. This position also requires driving of company vehicles. The ideal candidate will excel in customer interactions and have previous retail or hospitality experience. They will also consistently be able to display a positive attitude to enhance the shopping experience of our clientele. Excellent applicants will be able to demonstrate strong intrapersonal tendencies and enjoys being part of a team. This position offers great advancement potential, and is also eligible for company-paid education in the wine, beer, and spirits industry. This is a permanent position. We are NOT looking for seasonal or part-time help at this time. As such, every applicant needs to commit to a 40hour work week. Please note that our "work week" is a full 7 days; applicants should expect to work weekends and nights. Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide above-average customer service to all patrons * Perform Cashier duties which include, but are not limited to, processing payments, issuing refunds & credits, etc. * Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and store appearance * Understand and resolve customer complaints * Light maintenance work is required i.e. cleaning and trash disposal * Light computer work will be required * Understand, comply, and enforce company procedures and policies * Oversee product transfers and order fulfillment start to finish * Manage and execute ad hoc projects given by leadership * Assess the needs of clientele, and provide tailored product-based solutions for their needs Driving inventory to other locations Customer deliveries Requirements: * Must be over the age of 18 years as mandated by the State of Connecticut * Previous retail or hospitality experience * Basic mathematical skills * Must be able to consistently and repeatedly lift up to 50lbs * Outstanding communication skills * Must be able to stand on their feet for hours at a time DISCLOSURES: * Employees are expected to work on days leading up to major holidays i.e. Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, etc. * Employees are in some instances required to work on major holidays i.e. Easter, Passover, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fourth of July, etc. * This position is eligible for overtime during the holiday season * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Paid time off * 401(k) * Paid industry specific education * Employee discount Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off Shift: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Morning shift Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: * Retail sales: 1 year (Required) Language: * English (Required) License/Certification: * Driver's License (Required) Shift availability: * Day Shift (Required) * Night Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: * Ridgefield, CT 06877 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Ridgefield, CT 06877: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
