Full description of the position
Are you an effective leader who has passion for motivating a sales team? We are looking for a high energy Sales Manager to coach a competitive team of people. Successful candidates have experience developing business, managing CRM, analyzing sales reports and leading by example. Responsibilities: * Conduct sales meetings (plans in advance so that he/she will be informed; presents material effectively) handles objections; effects "closing" as appropriate. * Service customers and prospects individually and as necessary within the team. Must be on call to handle customer complaints and rejections. Must be able to provide relative information and technical assistance to the customer on company policy, product, delivery and prices. * Oversee the organization of time and effort for effective coverage of territory for the sales team. Take each account into perspective in terms of present sales and future sales. * Maintain a daily line of communication with the Trade sales team on business taking place in each of their territories. Provide coaching to assist with making decisions and acts independently and in conjunction with the sales reps on such matters as price quotations, customer specifications and delivery schedules. * Keep informed of competitor's policies, products, organization and sales trends and devises means to combat them in his/her own area of responsibility. * Attend local association meetings and get involved within the industry. * Gives proper attention to selling expense, staying within the established limitations. Qualifications: - Previous sales management, construction, window industry experience preferred.
