About the Role The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships through outbound sales efforts, with a focus on growing accounts and identifying new business opportunities. This role includes occasional in-person meetings, on-site visits, and attendance at trade shows to support relationship-building and promote products within the manufacturing sector. Responsibilities: * Manage and grow existing customer accounts through communication and relationship-building * Conduct outbound sales efforts to generate quotes and close orders * Travel occasionally for in-person client meetings, site visits, or overnight trips as required * Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote products and gather market insights * Support pricing of custom or specialty products in collaboration with management * Document all sales activities and maintain detailed records of customer interactions * Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation * Handle returns, credits, and order modifications to resolve customer issues promptly Qualifications: * Associate or Bachelor's degree * Minimum of two years of sales experience * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher * Excellent multitasking, organizational, and time management skills Desired Qualifications: * Experience in distributor, technical, or construction-related sales * Familiarity with manufacturing processes or industrial products * Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and contract negotiation * Experience using ERP systems for order and customer management Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Compensation Package: * Bonus opportunities * Commission pay * Performance bonus Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
