The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a vital role in identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline. Key Functions and Job Responsibilities * Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach. * Schedule meetings and tours for the Mills James sales team with potential clients. * Maintain and update customer information in the company's HubSpot system. * Conduct market research to identify new leads and understand customer needs and interests in the production industry. * Engage with prospects via phone and email to introduce them to the company's products or services. * Follow up with leads who have been contacted in the past. * Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for targeting potential customers. * Track and report on sales activities and goals. * Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Mills James services, industry trends, and competition. * Handle objections and educate prospects on the benefits of the company's solutions. * Participate in sales training and educational programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge. * Ensure compliance with sales processes and record-keeping requirements. * Assist with the creation of sales materials, such as presentations and proposals. * Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as established by the CSO. * Provide feedback to marketing on lead generation quality. Essential Job Requirements * Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field * Experience: 1-2 year in sales, marketing, customer service, or related experience preferred, but not required * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to clearly articulate product value propositions and conduct business conversations * Understanding of sales performance metrics * Familiarity with CRM software is a plus, and MS Office (particularly MS Excel) * Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional and enthusiastic demeanor * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment * Strong organizational and time-management skills * Willingness to learn Mills James sales techniques and strategies * High level of self-motivation and a strong work ethic * Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude Mills James Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package for this full-time opportunity, including AnthemERC health and wellness, Guardian dental and vision care, Employee Assistance Program (EAP)and 401(k) and Roth 401(k) with company match.,
