Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Inside Sales Manager to lead our sales team in driving growth and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy sales (solar), particularly in solar solutions, and possess exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a proactive approach to managing sales processes, developing strategies, and ensuring the highest level of customer service.

Duties
  • Lead and motivate the inside sales team to achieve sales targets and enhance overall performance.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the energy market, with a focus on solar equipment sales.
  • Tracking sales activities, managing customer relationships, and reporting on team performance.
  • Support business development efforts to get results working directly with the Director and VP of Channel Sales, North America.
  • Collaborate to ensure alignment on goals and strategies.
  • Develop sales scripts, market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in energy sales or solar sales is highly desirable (2 years of solar experience and knowledge is preferred).
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team in the future.
  • Excellent phone sales skills. Able to connect with people, follow a script, gain interest, and book appointments.
  • Self starter. Able to work alone and crush expectations even if no one is watching you.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience in any type of sales...but especially solar sales is a huge plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a strong focus on appointment setting and commission based sales.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve company objectives.
