Route Sales Representative- This is a full-time position that is responsible for selling and merchandising Salter's Distributing's complete line of products to existing and new accounts while driving a company vehicle. Sales Representative's hours of work vary by assigned route, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities * Driving to stores on company routes. * Merchandising store displays to ensure proper inventory, pricing, and rotation. * Providing excellent customer service. * Selling company's complete line of merchandise to store owners and managers. * Keeping all company-supplied equipment clean and serviced, including the company vehicle and cell phone. * Completing all required sales and paperwork. * Solicitation of new accounts fitting approved Salter's Distributing profile. * Physical Requirements: This work requires the following physical activities: climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 30 lbs. of product on consistent basis, repetitive motions. The work is performed both indoors and outdoors. * Prior store sales or merchandising experience preferred. * Good verbal communication skills. * Clean DMV record and insurability. * Ability to work independently in various settings. * Pays $24.00 per hour plus overtime. Expect to make approx. $68,000 /year with this position.
