Company Profile: Kentex Corporation, an importing, and distribution company, is a fast-paced company seeking an individual who is highly motivated, dependable, detail oriented, and able to multi-task. Based in Columbus, OH, Kentex Co. imports commodities including home textiles, furniture, and decor to then be distributed to major retail chain stores across the United States. Job Summary: The Sales Account Manager will be involved in many aspects of our development, obtaining market knowledge of products, sourcing and distribution process. Working closely with the client and Product Development team, the Sales Account Manager's main objective is customer development, customer relations, soliciting orders, and communication with clients and retailers. The candidate will have excellent written and verbal skills along with problem solving and analytical skills. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to balance shifting priorities, and a proactive mindset. Responsibilities: * Work directly with retail customer to manage and create new products based on customer's request. * Assist in quoting, product sampling, product packaging, and general follow up procedures * Monitor lead times for sampling, production, shipping, and all other time sensitive matters to ensure we are staying on time to meet customer deadlines * Maintain regular correspondence and build relationships with retail Buyers to provide updates, monitor sales, develop products, and resolve issues * Obtain industry knowledge and awareness through product research and store visits in order to identify market trends and movements * Process and track purchase orders. Coordinate with the Product Development team and buyers to monitor delivery dates, resolve discrepancies, ensure industry regulations are met, develop packaging designs, and oversee quality assurance. * Prepare and present sales presentations * Identify new opportunities, proactively seek out opportunities to grow the business, and follow up on potential leads Skills/Qualifications: * Strong writing and communication skills * Detail oriented and organized * Critical thinking and analytics abilities to resolve issues * Able to multi-task and adapt to varying tasks in a fast-paced environment * Able to meet deadlines * Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint * EDI background knowledge is a plus Benefits: We offer full medical benefits including Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance.
