Position Description Lead Sales Development Representative (SDR) Company Summary LCPtracker, Inc. is a cloud-based software (SaaS) provider specializing in labor compliance for public works construction projects. Position Summary The Lead Sales Development Representative (SDR) performs inside-selling activities within the assigned vertical market space (LCPtracker). The Lead SDR will reach out to prospects and qualify them by asking questions on customer needs and identifying the decision-making process. The Lead Sales Development Representative will build relationships with prospects in their assigned vertical to encourage new and repeated business opportunities. The Lead SDR is responsible for generating qualified leads for the Account Executive. Additionally, the Lead SDR will handle proposals, contract negotiations, and client meetings to facilitate successful sales processes and assist with new hire training (as needed). This role does not involve management responsibilities. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * React to inbound leads from demo requests, content downloads, referrals, and other lead sources. * Prospect opportunities by targeting specific buyers and generating interest via calls, emails, and social media. * Conduct/Assist with new hire SDR orientation/training, vertical coverage (as needed). * Assist account executives in the sales process of prevailing wage/labor and workforce compliance software solutions. * Help develop new client relationships and provide support for proposal preparation. * Create a pipeline of qualified prospects sufficient to meet quarterly/annual quota requirements. * Utilize CRM system and computer hardware/software to enhance productivity. * Sell to assigned vertical market and/or others as needed * Prepare and present proposals, contracts and bids for clients. * Organize regular client meetings to ensure excellent customer service. * Uncover and understand company's needs and develop solutions. * Help oversee contract negotiations with clients. * Communicate to clients on behalf of AE as needed. * Collaborate with key decision-makers to identify opportunities and develop ideas that deliver sales results. * Responsible for generating and closing upsell business opportunities and ensuring client renewals and overall customer satisfaction. * Travel to clients, conferences, company events as needed. * Other Duties: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee. Education and Experience * Associate degree preferred. * Minimum 1+ years of SaaS (Software as a Service) sales experience. * Proven success with lead qualifying * Strong communication and customer service skills * Well versed in using Sales technology solutions including Salesforce or other CRM solutions - analytics & reporting to improve sales performance * Ability to work in a collaborative environment Work Environment This position performs its duties from our Orange, California office. This position operates in a professional office environment and role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, mobile devices, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Requirements While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk and hear, use hands and fingers to type, scroll and use computer equipment. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection of text/data in both print and electronic forms. Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time non-exempt position reporting to our Orange, California office, M-F 8am-5pm. Days/hours worked are dependent on the workload at the time. General availability and presence in the office is expected during regular business hours Monday-Friday. However, some flexibility is allowed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel There is no major travel requirement for this position. However, infrequent travel may be necessary to visit remote office(s), attend conferences/industry events, etc. Attendance at our corporate Staff Retreat is required. This event is a 2-3-day retreat. Attendance at our annual User Conference as assigned. Salary Range Rate of $24.00 to $26.00 per hour base + commission + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
