We are looking to hire an enthusiastic, dedicated, and motivated Sales Representative (Senior Account Executive level) to drive sales and continue to create strong relationships with current and future potential clients. You will be responsible for covering the assigned area to develop the territory. Ty is the largest soft toys manufacturer of the World-famous Beanie Babies, Beanie Boos, Beanie Bellies, Beanie Bouncers, as well as Disney, Marvel, and Bluey. Valentines, Easter, Halloween, and Christmas holiday products always keep us #1 in the industry. It is a fun job that creates smiles and happiness all year long! COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: * Regular Full-time Exempt position * Commission paid on a biweekly basis * Health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, HSA Employer contribution * Travel business expenses (IRS mileage rate, lodging, etc.), and much more! Job Essentials: * Service accounts by presenting new soft toys for holidays and special occasions while providing outstanding customer service. * Ensure all stores are fully stocked and merchandised according to company standards. * Account maintenance includes but not limited to presentation of products, order writing, merchandising, inventories, selling corporate programs and follow-up. * Prospect and open new accounts within your assigned territory. * Take store pictures of our products and a brief overview of the store. * Generate and transmit reports and orders on our iPad-based sales tool. * Educate retailers and facilitate adherence to Ty philosophies and policies. Physical Requirements * Regularly drives a scheduled route through assigned territory. * Occasionally bends, lifts, grasps, and builds displays/signage. * Occasionally lift or carry objects weighing between 20-45 lbs. * Occasionally travel overnight. Educational/Required Skill Requirements * High school diploma or GED. * Minimum 3 years of sales work-related experience with direct consumer products. * Excellent customer service skills and ability to build and maintain customer relationships. * Must have own vehicle, state valid driver's license and state mandate vehicle insurance. * Familiarity with an iPad basic function. * Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills. * Exceptional customer service skills. * Proactive attitude for planning and scheduling route and scheduling appointments. * General knowledge of gift/collectible and plush toy industry, preferred * Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification; they are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.
