Overview

: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Freight Forwarding Sales Specialist to drive new business, negotiate competitive freight rates, and manage shipments from origin to destination. Responsibilities

: Sales & Business Development

• Identify and pursue potential clients through outreach, networking, and lead generation strategies.
• Generate and convert leads for both LTL and FTL freight services.
• Promote freight forwarding solutions tailored to customer supply chain needs. Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain daily communication with clients and drivers.
• Develop long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
• Understand each client's unique logistics challenges and present customized solutions. Carrier & Vendor Coordination
• Source and onboard competitive, reliable trucker vendors and carriers.
• Monitor carrier performance, track shipments, and address issues such as delays or billing discrepancies.
• Prepare bills of lading and coordinate logistics details with accuracy and urgency. Negotiation & Deal Closing
• Negotiate freight rates with both clients and carriers to ensure profitability and service quality.
• Manage client expectations, provide rate quotes, and close sales with confidence.
• Focus on building sustainable, long-term partnerships with shippers and customers. Account Oversight & Shipment Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, from initial engagement to post-delivery support.
• Ensure accuracy of documentation, quality control, and timely pick-up/delivery scheduling.
• Address service issues promptly and proactively to maintain client satisfaction. Industry Insight & Adaptability
• Stay current on freight market trends, port operations, and logistics best practices.
• Use market knowledge to inform sales strategy and guide clients effectively. What We're Looking For:
• Proven success in freight forwarding, logistics, or truck brokerage sales
• Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
• Familiarity with freight platforms like DAT, Truckstop, or similar
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-driven environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Sales management or outside sales experience preferred
• Bilingual (English/Mandarin) is a plus. What We Offer:

Compensation
