Full description of the position

SUMMARY The Sales Support Representative is responsible for providing administrative and customer support to the Retail Sales Team. This is an in-office, Monday - Friday role. There is no remote or hybrid schedule option. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: * Enters new item setup into each retailer's portal and maintains setup, pricing and item attribute changes, etc. * Run reports * Analyze data, pivot tables, formulas * Assures that all mailings, sales samples and printings are sent out and reach the appropriate account and follows up to assure their receipt. * Responsible for all new customer set-up and completes and maintains forms as required by each customer. * Tracks orders and communicates with account/buyer, as well as the internal Australian Gold team, any issues that may arise with an order. * Assists with email responses to assure timeliness for each of our customers. * Takes calls from Customer Service team and follows-up with customers as needed. * Communicates directly with buyers on various topics as assigned by the sales team * Acts as liaison between own department, customers and cross functional teams to assure timeliness with communication and information needed. * Coordinates correct batches/shipments of clearance items with operations for off price retailers. * Responds to non-customer inquiries and leads. * Provides trade show support, as needed. * Responsible for non-portal new item set-up. * Populates new item template for all customers. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; additionally 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience within the personal care industry. * Experience growing new business and growing existing accounts through referrals and prior relationships within the personal care retail industry, preferred. * Proven track record producing outstanding revenue & customer satisfaction. * Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Additionally, excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
