Full description of the position

We are looking for a Retail Sales Clerk to provide excellent customer service for our business. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store's profitability. Balboa Candy is known for its world-famous gourmet taffy. We carry one of the largest selections of taffy in the world. We are looking to fill a part-time sales associate positions at our Newport Beach Stores (Balboa Peninsula & Balboa Island) Must be dependable, outgoing, energetic, and hard working. We are looking for an outgoing person that wants to work in a fun place and love candy! Prior cash register and customer service preferred but will train the right candidate. Great job for students and we can be a little flexible with the shifts. Shifts are 5-6 hours. Approx.15-25 hours per week. Must be available for Tues, Wed & Friday morning shifts.
