ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion * Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs * Be knowledgeable about the product * Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems * Answer questions about the products * Negotiate prices and terms * Collaborate with colleagues in different sectors * Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships * Review customers credit status and collect monies owed. * Complete Administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner. Qualifications and Education Requirements: * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Bachelors' degree or equivalent work experience. * 1-2 years of industry related sales experience within the distribution or supplier community. * Must provide own transportation, valid Driver's License and current insurance * Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. * Must possess strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills and social perceptiveness. * Ability to work in a team environment and to manage multiple tasks. * Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and electronic mail proficiency. * Goal oriented, focused, and possess the ability to excel with minimal supervision. * Self-Motivated to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
