Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while promoting our products and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.

Duties

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively communicate with customers.
• Organize merchandise displays to enhance the shopping experience.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing backroom inventory.
• Provide support in supervising junior staff members when necessary.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Skills
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Experience in retail sales preferred; familiarity with grocery store environments is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers.
• Ability to conduct engaging product demos that attract customer interest.
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving a wider customer base.
