Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and retail sales, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. This role is essential in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers in a grocery store environment.

Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and ensuring their needs are met.
• Engage with customers to promote sales and enhance their shopping experience.
• Maintain knowledge of products and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
• Supervise and assist in training new staff members as needed.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a neat and inviting store appearance.
• Utilize phone etiquette to assist customers over the phone when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to supervise others and work collaboratively within a team.
• Experience with stock management and merchandising in a grocery store setting is a plus.
