Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while maintaining cash register integrity.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
• Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on shelves and ensuring product displays are appealing.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Supervise junior staff or new hires as needed, providing guidance and support.
• Uphold excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in basic math for handling transactions and managing cash.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
• Ability to supervise and mentor team members when required.

• Knowledge of stock management practices is a plus.
