We are seeking an accomplished professional to fulfill the role of *Business Development Lead & Senior Engineer *for our Orange County office. This high- level role requires a seasoned professional who is as skilled in technical MEP engineering as they are in building relationships and driving new business opportunities. Responsibilities * Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets. * Prepare proposals and work with marketing team to prepare presentations and the development of marketing material. * Lead high-profile MEP projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and exceed client expectations with minimal supervision. * Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business and drive long-term partnerships. * Actively engage in business development, identifying and pursuing new project opportunities in Los Angeles and Orange County. * Represent the firm at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility. * Provide technical oversight and mentorship to the engineering team, ensuring excellence in design and execution. * Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to develop innovative solutions tailored to their needs. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field. Professional licensure (PE) is highly desirable. * 10+ years of experience in the MEP engineering industry, with a proven track record of success in the Los Angeles and Orange County markets. * Exceptional client-facing skills with a commitment to outstanding customer service. * Extensive network of contacts in the AEC industry within the OC/LA regions. * Demonstrated ability to secure and manage new business opportunities. * Strong leadership, team building, and project management skills with the ability to guide projects from inception to completion. * Deep understanding of MEP systems and the unique challenges of the Southern California market.
