Full description of the position

Sales Representative Represents Awesome Entertainment professionally and with enthusiasm in the community, promoting the Company and securing client bookings. Communicates professionally with current and potential clients. Coordinates with Will Call, Logistics and Warehouse personnel as needed to satisfy client needs and deadlines. Utilizes Company programs, databases and programs to accurately and efficiently record and track client bookings and events. Directly supervised by the Director of Sales. Full-time, permanent, hourly. Duties include, but are not limited to: * Develops client relationships and generates orders for business * Promotes company in the community and develops client relationships * Communicates professionally with clients on available equipment and services * Meets commitments made to clients, including returning telephone calls, emails and other forms of communication * Meets company deadlines so orders can be appropriately filled, deliveries scheduled and other operations can happen as effectively as possible * Is familiar with industry trends and developments * Accurately completes reports and paperwork * Follows company policies and procedures, as well as supervisor 's instructions (both written and oral) with consistency and accuracy * Reports on time as scheduled, prepared to work * Listens and follows instructions * Takes responsibility for following through on client needs * Meets deadlines and follows through on commitments * Demonstrates knowledge of company products, services and equipment * Communicates clearly and professionally with staff and others * Pursues continuing education and training * Solves problems and go beyond the norm to ensure a successful event and a happy client * Works a flexible schedule as needed * Works weekends, unusual hours and late hours, sometimes in the heat or inclement weather * Follows dress code and maintains a well-groomed professional appearance Traits: * Self-starter and takes initiative to address challenges * Responsible, accountable and pays attention to detail * Able to identify challenges and address them * Problem-solver * Demonstrated ability to think strategically and organize tasks * Able to collaborate and respond to the needs and input of a team * Supports the team * Ability to work within an organizational hierarchy * Asks questions when needed * Has a positive attitude, is outgoing and friendly * Presents self professionally in appearance, actions and communications * Able to listen, follow instructions, pay attention to detail * Takes responsibility for successful completion of tasks * Works independently, and with a team * Able to follow through on commitments and meet deadlines Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Shift: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * No nights Ability to Commute: * Columbus, OH 43209 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Columbus, OH 43209: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
