Full description of the position

The position requires visiting and servicing local MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) facilities, repair and maintenance facilities for trucks, heavy equipment, industrial plants, truck shops, municipal fleets, truck equipment builders, any company, city or state with a fleet, equipment repair facilities plus many other repair shops too many to list. All our customers are repeat buyers, month after month. Experience selling any product or supplies to any type customers mentioned above is a MUST, no matter what you sold previously. Must be a "people" person willing to meet new contacts, develop relationships, and be self-disciplined to work unsupervised. No overnight travel, never more than an hour away from home, self-determined hours, and no high pressure sales. We sell quality supplies used by our customers every day and they need to re-stock every month. You will work locally in your home territory, the area you already know, and your territory is protected. Experience in sales with or familiarity with companies such as Kimball-Midwest, Fastenal, Barnes, Tifco, Grainger, electrical supplies, HVAC suppliers, or fastener/ hardware suppliers a plus.
