Route Supervisor Our family owned and operated food distribution business is looking for a talented and experienced Route Supervisor to join our management team. Overview * Senior leadership position with bottom line accountability * Responsible for supervising Route Drivers and daily distribution activity * Provide and facilitate training for all new Route Drivers * Maintain customer accounts and solicit new customers * Demonstrate results in improving business performance through leadership Qualifications * Have a highly developed sense of urgency * Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle report) * Must be able to pass a background check & DOT Physical * Must be able to pass a drug screening * Excellent customer service skills * Strong oral and written communication skills * Must have strong leadership qualities * Excellent time management skills * Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment * Must be FLEXIBLE with schedule * Must have strong computer skills * H.S Diploma required; college degree is helpful. * Knowledge of DOT compliance helpful * Experience with truck leasing programs helpful Benefits * Yearly salary of $48k + based on qualifications and experience, and quarterly bonuses * Ability to earn based on your performance and profit contribution * Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance available * Simple IRA with Employer Matching Contributions * Upbeat and positive work environment * Full-time * Paid time off Responsibilities * Coach, lead and develop Route Drivers * Guide the efforts of the Route Sales Team by riding routes (if needed), checking drivers sales reports and orders for accuracy * Oversee daily settlement of routes sales activity * Handle incoming customer calls either by telephone or in person * Must be able to fill in if Route Driver or Loader/Shipper is on vacation
