Full description of the position
Punchcut is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team in shaping the future of connected products and services. As a human interface design and innovation company, we partner with leading global brands to design intuitive digital experiences. You should have at least 3-5 years of experience working with creative and multi-disciplinary teams, excels at building strong client relationships, and brings a proactive mindset to uncovering new opportunities within existing accounts. The Account Manager will serve as part of our Growth team, servicing and growing active accounts, maintaining relationships with inactive accounts, and supporting new client development. * RESPONSIBILITIES The Account Manager has three primary areas of focus and responsibility: * Manage, nurture and enhance relationships with individuals at our most valuable client accounts. * Develop new revenue generating project opportunities for Punchcut at assigned accounts. * Provide insight and support to our project teams solving design problems with our clients. Relationship Management: * Build client rapport and trust to secure longer-term, profitable relationships. * Serve as the consistent point of contact across multi-project engagements. * Ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities to deepen partnerships. * Position Punchcut as a trusted client advisor and as a thought leader. * Manage execution of contracts and statements of work. * Collaborate with the Account Leadership Team on account strategies and plans. Business Development: * Identify opportunities for follow-on projects and growth within assigned accounts. * Support new inbound and outbound sales efforts for new clients. * Proactively generate demand for Punchcut's services through active consultation. * Provide direction and revenue pipeline visibility. * Support proposal development, including scoping, estimation, pricing, contracts and negotiations. * Identify opportunities for marketing and co-promotion with our clients. Engagement Support: * Support project teams by helping them navigate project risks and challenges. * Address and resolve escalated project issues balancing client and Punchcut needs. * Track and manage account financials, reporting, and prepare client dashboards. * Support Project Management to manage project and account profitability. QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum of 3 years of relevant program or account management experience in a professional services/agency environment * Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills * Empathize with our clients and help find solutions for them * Communicate effectively with team members and clients from manager level to CEO * Ability to independently identify and resolve issues; Excellent team-building and conflict resolution skills * Travel as needed (conferences, client meetings, pitches) BONUS * Experience in the UX/UI design and development for devices and services * Located in the San Francisco Bay Area COMPENSATION The pay range for this role is $100-120K annually. Compensation within this range determined by taking into account candidate experience, business/market financials and internal pay parity. * WHY PUNCHCUT?
