Learn more at [please apply online] * Location The ideal candidate will preferably be in Central, South Central (including Texas) or Eastern U.S. within a 50-mile radius of a major airport to ensure efficient travel and accessibility * Meet the Team The Regional Sales Manager is part of the Sales Team and reports to the Chief Commercial Officer. The sales team at Spinal Elements supports the organization by generating sales that meet or exceed corporate goals and provides feedback from the field on requests and future needs of customers * About the role: As a Regional Sales Manager at Spinal Elements, you will be responsible for driving sales in a specified geographic region, and/or as defined by specific sales channels. You will primarily manage distributors but may manage spine specialists or direct sales representatives as needed * Primary Responsibilities include: * Hiring, developing, and managing distributors * Covering surgeries as needed * Training and in-servicing distributors * Conducting sales calls and sales events, in-services, dry labs, and product demonstrations for the surgeon, hospital, and nursing staff end users * Identifying and executing sales business drivers consistent with the company's product and overall strategies * Providing sales updates and sales forecasts as required * Driving sales to reach and exceed corporate goals * Developing the annual sales plan with senior leadership team in support of organization strategy and objectives * Partnering with the sales team to direct and coordinate implementation and execution of sales policies and practices * Identifying goals and needs/requirements of prospects and clients, including budgetary cycles/amounts and key decision makers * Meeting and/or exceeding regional targets and contributing to the overall online team targets (monthly, quarterly, and annual) * Conducting account analysis and revenue forecast regularly * Attending home office and regional sales meetings as required * Working a minimum, full time 40-hour work week * Initiating and/or participate in hospital contracting and RFPs * Other duties as assigned * What Makes You Successful (KSA 's) * Proven track record in sales * Excellent communication and listening skills * Strong client relationship skills * Ability to assess issues and provide solutions to both internal and external customers What You'll Get (Benefits & Perks) * A full and comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, vision, short term and long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, and more * Wellness program and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * Retirement savings plan (401k) with 4% company match * Educational reimbursement program * Travel Assistance Program, Pet Insurance and Legal Services * 10 paid company holidays and 1 floating holiday * 15 days PTO * Experience and Education * Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 5+ years direct sales experience in an applicable life sciences field * Spine Industry experience required * Experience managing distribution sales channels required * Operating room (OR) experience preferred * Work Authorization US Work Authorization required * Work Environment This job operates in a corporate or home office setting. Frequently travels in cars, trains, or airplanes with visit to office and conferences. Overnight stays in hotels frequently required * Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus * Travel Approximately 50% travel required * Compensation Pay range: $150,000 - $180,000 annual base salary.
