The salary range for this position is between $65,000 to $75,000 per year, based on experience. Job Title: Catering Sales Manager Reports to: Director of Sales The ideal candidate is a driven, highly organized professional with a strong ability to prospect, build lasting customer relationships, and thrive in a dynamic environment. You should possess exceptional interpersonal skills and a knack for understanding client needs. A minimum of 2 years of catering sales manager experience is essential, while prior experience in hotel room sales is a valuable bonus. Responsibilities * Drive growth in the business travel, group, and catering markets by identifying lucrative opportunities and capturing them for increased revenue. * Proactively seek new business through creative telemarketing, networking, and innovative sales strategies to expand our reach. * Utilize your expertise in New Account Development to build strong connections, leveraging research and outside sales efforts to secure valuable new accounts for the hotel. * Master the art of sales and catering, consistently driving revenue through a well-executed, proactive sales approach. * Demonstrate exceptional Account Service and Management skills by maintaining organized, accurate, and up-to-date records in Delphi's sales and file management system. * Swiftly respond to leads from various sources, ensuring timely and efficient communication to maximize potential business opportunities. * Cultivate new business leads, maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, and leverage the full range of hotel facilities to meet and exceed our revenue targets in the assigned market segments. Qualifications * 2+ years of sales experience in the hotel industry, corporate and social markets * Hilton Hotel Sales experience preferred * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office, Delphi, Meeting Broker, Cvent We require you to pass a national background check before you start the job.
