Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Boutique Grocers in Sisters, OR. This role is essential in providing exceptional service across various departments within our boutique grocery store. As a Boutique Grocer, you will engage with customers, assist with product selections, and ensure a pleasant shopping experience. Duties * Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs. * Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures. * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new items and promote sales. * Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to effectively assist customers. * Assist in stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the cleanliness of the store environment. * Engage in retail sales activities, including upselling and cross-selling products. * Utilize basic math skills for transactions and inventory management. * Support team members across various departments as needed. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus. * Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and cash handling procedures. * Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately. * A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping customers find the right products. * Willingness to learn about new products and participate in product demos. * Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
