Your Role and Impact Administer the bid desk function within the Sales Operations Department, including handling Special Pricing Approvals through the Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform. Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and seize business opportunities. Day to Day Responsibilities * Ensure timely processing of Special Pricing Requests on ViewSonic portal(s); obtain special approvals when necessary. * Examine and evaluate requests considering current and future inventory levels, product roadmap, competitive information provided, promotions, and product transitions. * Follow predetermined pricing guidelines to process special pricing requests; consult with product managers for exceptions when necessary. Consider various sales dilutions such as SPIFF/rebates/incentives. * Provide overall administrative support to the Sales Operations department. * Work closely with other cross-functional teams to carry out programs. * Prepare ad-hoc reports using SFDC upon request. * Update information related to special pricing approval in the SFDC database based on program variation. * Attend product webinars and marketing meetings to understand company strategy and positions. * Participate and assist in other Sales Operations programs as assigned. Your Profile * 2-year AA degree or higher education preferred. * Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Must have demonstrated attention to detail. * Highly motivated and a self-starter, equipped to work well in a fast-paced environment. * Demonstrates problem solving ability to interface clearly and effectively with other departments. * Working examples of exercising patience when processing and following up requests * Good working knowledge of MS Excel (including pivot table, v lookup experience) and standard office programs and equipment.
