Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with a focus on providing an exceptional shopping experience. Responsibilities: - Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner - Operate Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately - Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, bathroom and office area - Stock shelves and monitor inventory levels - Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers - Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment securely - Multilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, are a plus for effective communication with diverse customers Qualifications: - Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred - Proficiency in English - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy - Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Must be able to lift 25+ pounds - Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team -Ability to spend time outdoors when helping customers, wiping down furniture or watering plants -Ability to adjust to fragrance smells, essential oils, diffusers, etc... -We are a pet friendly store, must love dogs!
