Essential Funtcions * Process requests for price, delivery, returns, order status, order expedites, product literature and technical product assistance. * Create quotes and sales orders. * Customer follow up to provide delivery dates and order status. * Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and sales teams. * Prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment. * Proactively anticipate customer's needs. * Field incoming emails and phone calls. * Assist and support Outside Sales teams. * Upload data on customer internet portals. *Skills, Experience, & Education * H.S. Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or better preferred. * 1+ years of customer service, sales and/or purchasing experience in a Manufacturing or distribution environment. * Experience in Industrial Distribution or similar industry is preferred (Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Fluid Power, Electrical, Power Transmission, Motors, and Motion Control) * Proficient with software programs including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, E-mail and vendor pricing programs * Ability to learn and work within a CRM system is required, working experience with Trend (CRM) is a plus. * Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail. * Strong analytical, mathematical, and mechanical aptitude. * Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
