Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team for our Apparel & Perfume store in Polaris Shopping Place. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to sell products effectively. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers in a retail store environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining a positive store atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Utilize effective sales techniques to upsell products and increase overall sales.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to provide informed recommendations to customers.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-stocked to enhance the shopping experience.
• Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and register operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or retail store environments is preferred but not required.
• Strong phone etiquette skills for handling customer calls effectively.
• Proven ability to sell products through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• English is a must
