Retail Sales Associate Hiring Immediately! OVERVIEW A Sales Associate contributes to driving sales through providing a genuine experience to each customer. RESPONSIBILITIES Brand Experience * Acts as a brand representative reflective of the company values * Initiates conversation, shares advice and product knowledge to interact with the customer in a personalized way Visual + Business Operations * Maintains Uptown Hippie's visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer * Adheres to store's safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store * Support in the maintenance of a neat and tidy sales floor to ensure a positive shopping experience inclusive of folding, hanging, displaying, and merchandising garments per our store guidelines to maximize selling opportunities * Actively process, stock, and replenish garments on the sales floor and stock room * Unpack, fold, and and label merchandise within efficiency timeline goals * Ring on the register, report and handle all required transactions, issue receipts, and fold and place merchandise in the appropriate bag following the register best practices routine * Fulfills opening and closing duties on scheduled days Qualifications * Passion for the UH brand * You've worked in retail before * You're at least 18 years of age * Must be here this summer * You love interacting with people! * You're full of energy and can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidays Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule Shift: * 8 hour shift * Day shift Work Location: In person
