Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the construction process by preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, ensuring that all aspects of the build are accounted for. This position requires strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of construction management principles. The Estimator will collaborate closely with lead estimaator, project managers, and clients to deliver precise estimates that align with project goals.

Duties

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project management teams to assess project requirements and develop accurate pricing strategies.
• Utilize estimating software and layout tools
• Conduct site visits to gather information on existing conditions and assess potential challenges.
• Monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Maintain organized records of all estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and pricing to enhance estimating accuracy. Skills
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail for cost control.
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members, clients, and contractors.
