Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, customer service oriented individual who likes working outside to fill a Sales Associate position in the Plants/Nursery department. Position requires flexibility in shifts for watering sessions - days, evenings, and weekends. Position is needed from mid March/early April through June/July. Qualifications: * Must be 18 years or older * Agriculture background * Product knowledge - plants, shrubs, vegetables * Willing to work outside for extended periods of time * Must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs. on a regular basis * Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction * Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends) Responsibilities: * Freight handling/Merchandising/Signage with plant information * Unload flower racks/Maintain the nursery area (varying weather conditions) * Basic gardening tasks (watering, weeding, fertilizing, and repotting as needed) * Stocking with new plants/rotating inventory/checking for damaged or unhealthy plants * Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately (cash, correct change, credit/debit cards, and checks) * Assisting customers with product selection and load outs * Handling phone calls *Pre-employment drug screen required Apply online at [please apply online] or in person at 405 W Interstate Drive, Luverne MN 56156 Equal Opportunity Employer Job Type: Seasonal Pay: From $13.00 per hour Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule Schedule: * Every weekend * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
