Our work environment includes: * Modern office setting * Relaxed atmosphere * Safe work environment Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate coding and approval - Prepare and process payment batches for vendors - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable - Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any payment or invoice issues - Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as needed - Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations In addition to accounting duties you would be assisting our sales team by calculating monthly commissions, typing reports, ordering supplies Skills: - Proficient in using accounting software - Strong knowledge of financial concepts, GAAP, and governmental accounting principles - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or errors - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external vendors - Familiarity with technical accounting practices and procedures - Experience with job costing a plus - Efficient 10-key typing skills for data entry purposes This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist / Sales Assistant to join our team.
