Job Purpose The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) maximizes ESP International?s relationship with the Company?s House (Small Account) Customer Base through proactive sales and service support. Technical Sales Representative is the primary ?face of ESP? with Buyers and Planners in regards to their daily needs. The BDS is also responsible for the proactive sales and margin growth of new and existing small accounts within ESP?s customer base. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Exceeds Customer Expectations * Provides World Class Service by continuously interacting with OEM Customers regarding the fulfillment of their daily quoting and application-based inquiries * Responds promptly to general inquiries into Quoting, pricing, and product requests * Uses creativity, good business judgment, and interpersonal skills to proactively identify and successfully fulfill customer needs * Enters customers? orders as needed * Actively uses CRM to record noteworthy events/opportunities as defined by Retail Business Unit expectations. Maximizes Value Proposition for Customers and Company * Partners with the QPD Manager in communicating ESP?s differentiators and value proposition to customers. * Responds to Requests for Quote (RFQ) and successfully manages quoting process to achieve both growth and more profitable sales. This includes preparing and analyzing small opportunities and catalog quotes. Acts as sales support for both the QPD Manager. * Will proactively contact prospects, obtained through internet leads or phone, to promote ESP capability and product. This proactive calling will be in the form of a new customer welcome or the result of a proactive marketing campaign. * Is the expert in servicing OEM Customers; uses that expertise to identify and champion improvements to minimize costs for customers and maximize profit for ESP and its Employee Owners * As needed, conducts off-site customer visits to promote ESP products and services. Maintains Quality Standards * Embraces the Quality Management System in all activities * Applies internal quality policies and procedures in support of Company?s mission and customer standards * Assists in documenting and driving resolution of customer concerns and complaints Maintains Professional & Technical Knowledge * Attends educational workshops and networking opportunities * Reviews professional publications * Leads internal and external meetings with customers and co-workers.
