• Training & development JEL Manufacturing, a leader in concrete production equipment, is seeking a driven Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. We're looking for someone eager to learn our industry, master our processes, and grow into a full-time sales role within approximately one year. • Support our sales manager and dealer network by creating detailed customer proposals and managing order paperwork (invoices, purchase orders, shipping documents, etc.).
• Act as a key liaison between Sales/Dealer Network, Engineering, and Accounting to ensure seamless communication.
• Collaborate with third-party marketing partners to execute strategic email, print, convention, and direct marketing campaigns.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to internal team members and external clients, often via phone and email.
• Learn and utilize industry-specific software to streamline operations and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and professional customer proposals.
• Process and maintain order-related documentation in a paperless, multi-screen office.
• Bridge communication between sales, engineering, and accounting teams.
• Support marketing efforts to promote JEL's cutting-edge equipment.
• Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues through top-notch service. Software We Use Experience is a plus but not required--we'll train the right candidate to master these tools:
• QuoteWerks (quotation software)
• Salesforce.com (CRM)
• Syteline (ERP)
• Microsoft Office
• Google Workspace What We 're Looking For
• Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software.
• Comfort working in a digital, multi-screen environment.
• Typing speed of 40+ words per minute.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving task environment.
• Moderate technical aptitude (understanding mechanical/electrical concepts is a plus).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills, with confidence handling phone and email interactions.
