General Job Description: As an Account Executive (AE), You'll be responsible for expanding existing accounts while actively seeking new business opportunities through outreach and cold calling. You will have a book of business to manage, opportunities to prospect new clients, and the ability to build strong customer relationships that drive growth. The role includes presenting the value of the MyCarrier platform through effective sales pitches and managing the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract and pricing negotiations. Success will come from understanding customer needs, communicating clearly, and driving long- term growth and retention through tailored solutions. Duties and Responsibilities: * Convert inbound and outbound leads from a free MyCarrierTMS experience to a paid subscription * Upsell add-ons to increase the functionality of the MyCarrierTMS platform * Gain a complete understanding of the customer's internal processes to develop the best solution that solves the problem within the timeframe and budget allotted * Negotiate the pricing as well as the scope of work agreements with the customers' leadership team * Follow up after the solution is fully implemented to ensure customer satisfaction * Work in a team setting to contribute towards achieving both individual and departmental goals (e.g. sales targets, assigned MRR Goal, etc.) * Maintain a complete understanding of the MyCarrier platform and capabilities * Stay informed of platform updates and product releases in order to be able to explain the benefits of the updates and releases. * Diligent management of your CRM, ensuring that your tasks are completed each day. * Maintain the sales pipeline by routinely recording customer engagements, appointments, and touchpoints to track progress towards closing of deals * Monitor and respond to customer communication received via email, phone, or voicemail in accordance with department SLAs, and follow up as needed * Analyze internal data on completed implementations to determine ROI for various products/services and show that value in sales materials/pitches * Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Clear communication: Engage clients with concise, effective verbal and written communication. * Relationship building: Develop and maintain strong client partnerships to drive sales. * Attention to detail: Ensure accuracy in proposals, contracts, and customer interactions. * Active listening: Understand customer needs and document key information. * Time management: Prioritize tasks and manage multiple deals efficiently. * Presentation skills: Confidently present and demonstrate the MyCarrier platform to various audiences. * Goal-oriented mindset: Stay motivated and focused on achieving sales targets. * Tech proficiency: Efficiently use software tools like Microsoft Suite and HubSpot to support daily tasks. Education and Experience Requirements: * 1+ year of sales experience: Demonstrated ability to manage the sales process and engage with customers. SaaS sales experience is preferred due to the consultative and solution-driven nature of the role. * 1+ year of CRM experience: Experience using customer relationship management systems for tracking leads, managing pipelines, and maintaining customer records. * Transportation or logistics knowledge (a plus): Understanding of supply chain, freight management, or logistics is beneficial for better connecting with customers and addressing their needs.MyCarrier, LLC
