Growing Columbus northwest side advertising agency is seeking an Advertising Account Executive to begin immediately. The ideal candidate will have at least two years agency experience (internship experience included) with a degree in marketing, advertising or public relations. Recent graduates will be considered. We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, intelligent, creative, hard-working, outgoing, professional person who can handle working in a deadline-driven pressure-filled environment. The Account Executive's daily activities will include: Managing daily marketing and communications responsibilities of specific accounts, including planning and execution, and project management Executing marketing and communications campaigns for clients across several industries ranging from consumer products to national events Developing strategies and implementing tactics for media relations and social media campaigns including writing press releases and talking points, pitching stories to major media, and purchasing media schedules Developing thorough understanding and knowledge of clients' businesses and their competitive environments Networking and expanding the agency's client base Desired Skills and Experiences: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or Related field. Two + years of relevant industry and advertising experience Excellent organizational, communications and interpersonal skills Ability to work well as a team member and be collaborative Ability to prioritize tasks in an environment where guidelines and deadlines often change Decisive and effective problem solver Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong writing skills Understanding of media planning including broadcast, print, outdoor, and digital Understanding of media relations/PR with experience pitching stories to media Basic experience with design programs including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator Basic knowledge of web development and email design including WordPress, HTML, and Constant Contact For consideration, submit resume, cover letter, and salary requirements to [please apply online]
