SM Bradford Co - Whitefish will re-open this summer! Expected start date for new employees will be Tuesday, May 27th. Our store is a family-run and specializes in high-end apparel. We are looking for experienced Retail Sales Associates to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out, especially those who are passionate about fashion. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and delighted, and you will contribute to the store's profitability. Our store is open 7 days per week. Because this is a store that is a well -known town destination, the hours vary by season and the store is open later during the busy times of year. All employees must be willing to share the responsibility of the extended hours and weekend shifts. The manager creates an equitable schedule for all and is open to schedule requests as long as the team can cover all of the shifts. Responsibilities * Greet customers * Recommend, select and help locate merchandise based on customer needs and desires * Answer customers' questions about specific products * Be familiar with store inventory * Ensure racks are fully stocked * Manage sales and returns of merchandise using POS system, receive merchandise and initiate store transfers * Be a team player * Foster repeat business buy building relationships with customers * Resolve customer issues through aligning to the core values of trust, integrity and respect * Stay up-to-date with new products * Maintain the proper display of merchandise in the store, ensuring they comply with brand standards * Must efficiently complete tasks or special projects assigned by store manager * Straighten and clean store - shared team tasks Skills * Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role * Work with an adventurous spirit and a customer-centric mindset * Understanding of the retail sales process * Familiarity with consumer behavior principles * Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures * Track record of achieving sales quotas * Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships * Ability to perform in fast-paced environments * Flexibility to work various shifts * High school degree Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Expected hours: 12 - 40 per week Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule Shift: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Night shift Work Location: In person
