Smurfs: The Adventure is coming to San Francisco, and we need your help to paint the town blue by being an opening day team member! This dynamic attraction combines thrilling challenges, exciting games, and captivating experiences that will transport you into the enchanting world of the Smurfs while delivering STEAM-based learning, inspiring the next generation of innovators!. The Sales Associate & Attractions Host, reporting to the Operations Manager, will work as a member of our retail and operations team to support the attraction, sell merchandise, and build a high-quality experience and positive relationship with customers and staff. Position Elements:

• Ensure that guest service standards, emergency contacts and procedures, general show and ticketing information, box office procedures, and merchandise procedures are followed during the operating hours of the attraction
• Greet patrons into the event and scan pre-purchased tickets for exhibition entry.
• Operate the event box office.
• Handle guests merchandise sales in the exhibition gift shop.
• Unload shipments and ensure the store is stocked daily.
• Provide general assistance to event guests. Minimum

Requirements

:

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Experience in the live entertainment, theme parks, or event industry is preferred.
• Love for and/or knowledge of The Smurfs is always a plus!
• General knowledge of immersive exhibits and interactive attractions
• Physical ability to lift and unload shipments possibly in excess of 30+ lbs.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate a POS system efficiently and independently.
• Basic math skills to calculate transactions in case of technical failure.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative and communicative team environment.
