Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role focuses on selling home backup generators to residential homeowners and offering generator maintenance contracts to commercial clients. The ideal candidate is personable, driven, and experienced in solution-based selling. We work with top generator brands including Kohler, Generac, Briggs & Stratton, and Cummins, and offer reliable products and services that meet a wide range of customer needs. Sales leads are provided through manufacturer partnerships and referrals , giving you a strong foundation to grow your territory. Territory includes: Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Lake City, FL. Key Responsibilities: * Prospect, identify, and generate new residential leads for home generator sales * Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners to assess needs and recommend appropriate generator solutions * Present and sell generator maintenance contracts to commercial clients, such as property managers and facility operators * Build and maintain long-term customer relationships with both residential and business clients * Prepare and deliver accurate, timely proposals and quotes * Stay knowledgeable about generator models, features, and manufacturer updates * Represent the company at trade shows, community events, and networking functions * Collaborate closely with service and installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project follow-through Qualifications: * 2+ years of outside sales experience, ideally in home services, HVAC, electrical, or related industries * Prior experience with or knowledge of standby generators is a plus * Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills * Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline * Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle Compensation & Benefits: * Weekly base pay of $1,000 -$1,500, plus commission * $300 commission per generator sold * Top performers are earning $150,000+ annually * Car allowance of $500 -$800/month plus a gas card * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Paid time off and holidays * Ongoing product and sales training * Leads provided through manufacturer partnerships and customer referrals If you're a high-energy sales professional with a passion for helping customers and a desire to be part of a growing industry, we'd love to hear from you.
