Full description of the position

Job Summary: The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales and building strong relationships with customers. This role involves identifying new sales opportunities, maintaining existing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales and Business Development: * Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territories. oPresent, promote, and sell products to existing and prospective customers. * Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends. 2. Customer Relationship Management: * Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. oAddress customer inquiries and provide solutions to their needs. * Follow up on leads and referrals generated through various channels. 3. Sales Strategy and Planning: * Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals. oPrepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients. * Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. 4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: * Track and report on sales performance metrics. oProvide management with regular updates on sales activities and results. * Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement. 5. Collaboration and Coordination: * Work closely with the Sales Manager and other team members to achieve sales targets. oCoordinate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products. * Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies. 6. Travel: * Travel within California, Nevada, and Arizona if necessary. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Sales Account Manager in residential tract and multifamily construction. * Strong contacts in the residential construction industry. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Willingness to travel within the assigned territories.
