Summary This position is the point-person for Lab implementation planning and is responsible for coordinating primary operator training as well as identifying and developing leads in partnership with the sales force. This position is also responsible for supporting sales follow-up activities in addition to helping with sales related marketing activities and administrative support. Duties and Responsibilities * * Act as point-person for all activities related to instrument implementations ensuring required documents are complete as well as scheduling primary operator training, installation, and ship dates. * Facilitate cross functional communication to ensure tasks and project milestones are completed in a timely manner. * Schedule and coordinate logistics for primary operator training. * Manage tradeshows and all logistics including registration, set-up, shipments, housing, site services, event communication and budget. * Coordinate various events for the Marketing team as needed (i.e. mid-year team building event, lunches). * Prepare monthly and weekly reports (KPI's, Lost, Leads, Pending Installs, etc.). * Responsible for updating the process flow documentation. * Responsible for managing the Voice of Customer (VOC) surveys. * Qualify leads generated through tradeshows, seminars and marketing activities before handing off to Sales personnel. * Assist in marketing activities as they relate to the sales process. * Participate in general marketing campaigns to identify future customers. * Capture customer data and activities in CRM. * Respond to inbound calls from customers inquiring about the lab product portfolio. * Assisting document preparation for FSS contract and GPOs/IDNs contracts. * This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive and the employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned be management. Knowledge and Skills * Minimum of 2 years' sales and/or marketing experience preferably in medical sales. Specific Laboratory Diagnostic experience a plus. * Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field. * Strong selling, communication, and negotiation skills. * Attention to detail combined with the ability to win over clients. * Ability to manage multiple phone calls and projects efficiently and effectively. * Experience with CRM systems and tradeshow management. * Excellent communication/interpersonal skills are a must; comfortable cold calling and presenting technical information. * Highly motivated and self-directed individual who functions well in a results-oriented environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (including, but not limited to Word, Adobe, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM/Salesforce, Visio). Physical Requirements * Occasional lifting / moving of office equipment and / or supplies. * Heavy keyboarding / PC use.
