Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will assist in maintaining the store's appearance, managing inventory, and driving sales through effective product demonstrations and upselling techniques. This is a face-to-face sales environment. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store. * Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. * Conduct product demos to engage customers and promote new items. * Utilize basic math skills to handle cash transactions and provide change accurately. * Implement upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. * Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. * Basic math skills are essential for handling cash register duties. * Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is advantageous. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. * A proactive attitude towards learning new products and sales techniques is highly valued.
