Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales and Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in driving growth and expanding our customer base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, particularly within the retail sector, and possess excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our sales initiatives. Duties * Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and networking. * Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions. * Utilize Sketchup for layout design to assist clients in visualizing product placements. * Conduct inside sales activities, including upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction. * Apply retail math principles to analyze sales data and forecast future trends. * Collaborate with team members to develop effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns. * Communicate effectively with clients to build strong relationships and ensure repeat business. Skills * Proficiency in construction and/or cabinetry for layout design is preferred. * Strong understanding of retail math concepts. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Proven ability in upselling techniques and closing sales deals. * Background in cabinet sales or related fields is a plus. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
