Quick Tie Products, Inc. ("QuickTie") is a quickly growing manufacturer servicing the building materials products industry. We manufacture and distribute a proprietary hold-down system for wood frame and masonry construction, as well as other related framing products. We sell and service both Single-Family builders and Multi-Family general contractors and framers. Summary This position is responsible for the coordination of Multi-Family projects from design to collection. Duties will include creating and management of timelines for design, production and shipping, and initiation of billing and collection processes. This role will work closely with management, sales personnel, customers, estimators, engineers, designers, production and accounting personnel. Primary Responsibilities: * Own and manage the post-sale relationship between QuickTie and its multi-family customers on a job-by-job basis * Communicate and coordinate with customers. For example: a. Sending introductory emails to customers. b. Responding to emails from customers and resolving issues expeditiously. c. Invoicing and following up on payments; helping accounting maintain current A/R. d. Communicating tracking information on shipments. e. Keeping customer informed of ship dates. * Create and maintain accurate Sales to Ship (STS) spreadsheet. * Ensure that shipping, design & estimating due dates are on track. * Participate in meetings to coordinate with design, purchasing and estimating to move projects forward and set priorities for shipments. * Prepare quotes as requested by sales and/or customers. * Send orders to production, ensuring we meet client expectations for deliveries. * Enter data into accounting software, such as invoices for bills related to multi-family jobs. * Assist with contractual requirements such as change orders, insurance verification, lien releases and notices to owners/contractors. * Place and receive vendor POs. * Bookkeeping and general related projects such as depositing checks and filing, as necessary. Skills required: * Organization, energy, tenacity and attention to detail. * Proficiency in Office, with particular emphasis on Excel. * Excellent Customer service. * Possess good interpersonal skills. * Possess good verbal and written communication skills. Education/Experience: * Higher Education (4-year degree) required. * Accounting and/or ERP software (e.g., Quickbooks or Sage50) required. * Construction Industry and / or project management experience preferred but not required.
