Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Medical Equipment Sales Account Manager to join our team selling X-ray and related radiographic equipment in the Northeast Region. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, expanding, and managing client relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The focus will be in selling to the medical market, specifically to hospitals and affiliated entities. This role is an outside sales position and will mostly be remote, with heavy travel to customers and potential customers, primarily in the Northeastern United States. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a deep understanding of the market landscape, enabling them to effectively communicate our value proposition to clients. You will become a product expert and leverage your expertise to identify new business opportunities and foster long-term partnerships. Duties * Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for account growth * Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor offerings * Utilize Salesforce to manage sales activities, track leads, and report on account performance * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services * Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients, showcasing solutions that meet their needs * Participate in trade shows and other industry related events * Lead negotiations and close sales deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction * Provide ongoing support to clients post-sale, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise * Stay informed about product developments and updates to effectively communicate benefits to clients * All other duties and special projects as assigned * Regular travel required Requirements * At least 3+ years' experience in capital medical equipment sales to hospitals and/or imaging centers required * Bachelor's degree required * Demonstrated ability in business development and account management * Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to engage diverse audiences * Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is highly desirable * A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer satisfaction * Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required * Reside in the Northeastern region of the US Summit Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
