Prior experience in Appliances or Mattress Sales is a plus, but not required, If you are confident in your abilities to help our customers make selections, have good follow up, and great customer skills, WE WANT TO TALK TO YOU! Retail Sales Associate Rice's Appliance & Bedding center is looking to add to our highly skilled sales team, we value honesty, dependability, and a team player mentality in the candidates we will be interviewing. We feel Rice's has a compelling story and we look to educate our customers on features and benefits they are looking for as well as informing them of all the extra value that Rice's brings can bring to their Major Appliance, Bedding and BBQ Grill purchase. Our sales team puts a lot of work into continuing education on products and services as well as ensuring tickets are entered accurately with sufficient notes so that our delivery team can meet the expectations for our customer. Rice's is a small family owned and operated business, therefore, we will provide introductory training on our products and services, however, those who succeed are driven to take training into their own hands and continue to learn and ask questions. Ultimately your success is up to you, those who have a desire to learn and interact with others do very well. Duties: - Greet and provide exceptional customer service to all guests and customers - Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions - Operate our Point of Sale software and handle financial transactions accurately - Maintain a clean and organized sales floor - Clean displays and ensure products are properly displayed and priced accordingly - Answer customer inquiries and provide product information - Process returns and exchanges according to company policies - Meet sales goals and targets set by management Experience: - Previous sales experience in Appliance, Bedding and BBQ Grills is preferred but not required - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash registers - Ability to communicate effectively with customers and others within the organization - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor, ability to build trust & rapport with potential customers is key At our company, we value our employees and offer a supportive work environment. The compensation for our Retail Sales Associates is Commission based, meaning, our sales team members have the opportunity to earn more with serving more customers.
