Job Summary

The Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Indianapolis, IN. This role requires a technical professional who will provide sales support, technical assistance, and customer service. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and delivering excellent customer service on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Provide technical support for clients, ensuring the proper selection and application of products.
• Drive sales efforts by identifying opportunities and delivering customized solutions to customers.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Offer exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and providing timely resolutions.
• Understand and explain technical equipment and processes in detail to clients.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Support marketing efforts and represent JDTCO at industry events and conferences.

Qualifications

:

• Proven experience in sales engineering or sales, preferably within the industrial or municipal sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge and communication skills to effectively convey technical information to customers.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand complex technical equipment and processes in the water and wastewater industry.
• Previous experience in the water and wastewater industry is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $92,794.00 - $101,559.00 per year Schedule:
