Pay Starting at $17/hour + $3/hour in tips, totaling $20.00/hour Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as effective communication with diverse customers is essential. Duties * Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions with accuracy. * Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases. * Assist in wrapping orders for customers * Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and promote sales. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively assist customers. * Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. * Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed. * Utilize basic math skills to ensure accurate cash handling and change distribution. * Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and improve store performance. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is advantageous. * Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately. * Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus.
